Zipper Bag - at Lisa's in Stitches
1:00 - 4:00
by Penny Eakin

This clever project has hidden charms that we couldn't show you in just one picture! The roomy carry-all converts to a handy purse-sized bag with a secure zippered compartment, ideal for those times when you're shopping and need to keep your wallet and keys tucked away. If you're tempted to buy more fabric than you can carry in a purse, simply unzip the compartment to have a full-sized tote bag, perfect for quilt shows and those grocery trips where you need just a few things. The sewing is relatively straightforward, and Penny will show you how to insert the zipper to get the ingeneous convertible feature. Bet you can't make just one!

(Rebecka's Note: I saw two of these at Lisa's in Stitches in Moro, and they really look sharp, whether expanded or in purse size. The class space is limited in order to ensure individual attention--sign up early!)

Class fee - Members $25,          Non-Members $35.
